Welcome to BBC Gardeners' World Live

Now in its 16th year, BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2008 promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a tantalising mix of show gardens, floral displays, practical demonstrations, entertainment and shopping opportunities in spades.

Show Highlights

One of the centrepieces of the show is the Gardeners’ World Magazine Celebrity Theatre, hosted by Adam Pasco and Kevin Smith, where familiar faces including Monty Don, Alan Titchmarsh, Carol Klein and Joe Swift take to the stage to share their invaluable advice. We're delighted to be welcoming Rachel de Thame and Toby Buckland to the stage this year, as well as regular magazine contributors James Alexander Sinclair and Anne Swithinbank - seats sell out very quickly, so make sure you add a reservation to your booking to avoid disappointment.

If you’re interested in growing your own fruit and vegetables, don’t miss our Grow Your Own area and stage. Expert gardeners will give practical demonstrations and advice on growing and using fruit, veg and herbs.  You should also look out for the Sustainable Future Feature if you want some ideas on how to ‘go green’ or save water in your garden.

Regular Gardeners' World viewers who follow the Friday night BBC 2 series will recognise some of this year's special features - elements of Monty Don's orchard, an allotment inspired by Joe Swift's London plot and a show garden in the spirit of Carol's green gardening project. All of your favourite presenters will also be out and about on 11th & 12th June filming a one hour special airing on Friday 13th June at 8pm - so you're sure to catch a glimpse of them!

More than 100 nurseries will have stands in the RHS Floral Marquee sponsored by Renault, displaying to the highest standards in their hopes of winning one of the coveted RHS medals. You’ll find every plant you could ever imagine, plus some more you couldn’t.

The big sell-off starts at 4.30pm on Sunday, so be there if you want to grab yourself a bargain!

"Join us for bucket-loads of inspiration, entertainment and ideas."
Adam Pasco, Editor, Gardeners' World Magazine
