Improved parking

With feedback from the 2022 Autumn Fair, developments have been made to the Car Parking systems for 2023.

  • All cars parking at the Fair will require a Parking Pass.
  • Car Parking passes are available to book at the same time as tickets.
  • Additional parking will also be available throughout the Fair.
  • Car Parking Passes should be clearly displayed on your dashboard in advance of arriving at Audley end. These will be checked upon entry to the car parks – if you do not have a pass on arrival, you will be able to purchase one in the car parks.

The BBC Gardeners’ World Fair takes place in the field behind Audley End House. The Fair takes place on grass, and the area behind the house is on a slope. There are accessible routes into the gardens via the house and this year there will be a bridge from the Parterre Gardens to the event site Find out more about the accessibility of the event here, and the accessibility map.

We also provide free carer tickets, free Blue Badge parking and will be incorporating more trackway this year to help with accessibility. For further information on assistance dogs, accessible routes and more, click here.

More mobility options

As you can see on Audley End’s own website, there are accessibility considerations at this site. To make improvements year on year, we are now working with Event Mobility to provide additional mobility scooter hire at the Fair.

Event Mobility Charitable Incorporated Organisation will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show.

More seating and catering options

With the Fair increasing in size in 2023, we have made sure to incorporate additional seating throughout the Fair, with covered seating areas to accommodate no matter the weather.

Rest and recharge with more refreshment and food options. The Servants’ Hall Tea Room will have an extended seating area, Cart Yard Café, a dedicated larger area in the woodland presenting a wider variety of Street Food options and the BBC Good Food Market will be open throughout the Fair.
