Oyster Mushroom Workshops
Brought to the Fair by Jodie and Lorraine of the Sussex-based Caley Brothers, this workshop will teach you how to grow your own mushrooms at home.
You will also receive a kit to help get growing your own substrate. The team will cover all aspects of growing mushrooms and answer any questions along the way.
The Caley Brothers aim to connect people to the world of fungi and growing gourmet mushrooms in an easy and accessible way. What’s more, all the mushrooms are grown sustainably on repurposed coffee grounds and the kits are packaged in reclaimed coffee sacks, consciously designed to be recycled, composted or reused.
Half hour workshops cost £10 (Fair ticket also required) taking place daily at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Participants will get a growing kit to take home.
