Autumn garden inspiration was in abundance in the Plant Expert Tours at the BBC Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair.

These special half hour tours gave visitors an exclusive viewing of Audley End kitchen gardens, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

What’s more, Lucy Chamberlain and Saul Walker met up with Head Gardener Louise Ellis at Audley End House to discuss the historic and modern-day management of the Kitchen Garden. Watch below to get a sneak preview of the garden!

Saul Walker 

Saul Walker fell in love with horticulture through his Grandparents passion for visiting historic houses and gardens, and after a brief spell as an Archaeologist, he went to train and work as a Gardener for the National Trust at Antony House in Cornwall.

Lucy Chamberlain 

Lucy was raised at her parents’ market garden in Essex, before venturing to further her horticultural education at Writtle and Wye colleges. With an Honours Degree in plant sciences she then worked at the Royal Horticultural Society Garden (RHS) Wisley.
