Inspired Living Sessions

Dr Dawn Harper – Thursday 13 June

See Dr Dawn Harper at the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre in free her Inspired Living Session on Thursday 13 June.

She will be discussing the mental and physical benefits of gardening and sharing what she has learnt over the years, including how she looks after her own garden and grows her own veg.

Dr Dawn will also explore the social aspect of having a beautiful garden or space and how this can impact positively on the community, included what Inspired are doing to bring health and wellness of every form into their villages throughout the UK.

Julia Bradbury – Friday 14 June

See Julia Bradbury at the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre in free her Inspired Living Session on Friday 14 June, discussing what gardening means to her and the benefits of getting outdoors and submerging yourself in nature.

She will share with visitors what walking through the beauty of the British countryside means to her, touching on the walk that she did with residents of Great Alne Park and how it highlighted that walking truly does bring people together.

Julia will talk about her support of the Woodland Trust and how it has taught her to respect the Great British countryside. She will also talk about what Inspired are doing to bring health and wellness of every form into their villages throughout the UK. 

Gloria Hunniford – Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June

See Gloria Hunniford at the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre in free her Inspired Living Sessions on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June.

Gloria will discuss how gardening in retirement should be about doing the things you enjoy at a level that you can enjoy them. She will talk about her own love of gardening and how it has evolved over the years and focus on smaller more manageable gardens, such as container gardens and how they can still bring you joy.

She will explore the sociable side of gardening, whether it’s a glass of wine with friends or working together in places like Inspired, to create beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy and will share what other ways Inspired are doing to bring health and wellness of every form into their villages throughout the UK.
