Michael Perry (Mr Plant Geek) refers to himself as the ultimate plant geek - as his obsession with plants has been persisting for over 30 years, and shows no sign of letting up! He's have been responsible for introducing hundreds of new plants into the UK, most notably novelties such as the Egg and Chips plant and the Fuchsia Berry.

Michael has worked extensively with Thompson & Morgan, helping them to win countless awards, most notably Plant of the Year with Digitalis ‘Illumination Pink’ at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2012.

Michael is a regular presenter on QVC as well many appearances on TV across Europe, BBC and ITV. This includes various stints on ITV’s The Alan Titchmarsh Show and This Morning, as well as BBC’s Great British Garden Revival and The One Show. He's lectured in Japan and is a regular on BBC regional radio across the UK, contributing to BBC Suffolk quite often, giving out gardening advice to telephone callers.

He's a keen social media communicator, and use it to find out more about what gardeners want from their gardening and plants, and share advice with them.
