FLORAL MARQUEE AWARDS
The Floral Marquee exhibitors will be assessed, with awards announced at the Show on Thursday 14 June. Assessors in 2018 include Helen Bainbridge, Jim Buttress, Rupert Eley, Michael Hickson, Terry Porter, Greg Redwood and Jon Wheatley.
DAHLIAS IN TECHNICOLOUR
Breaking away from traditional exhibiting techniques, Jon Wheatley and Greenyard Flowers UK (holders of the National Dahlia Collection) present an incredible Dahlia display in the heart of the Floral Marquee. This display is a plethora of colours, stemming from a spectacular diversity of varieties, which is continually increasing thanks to their team of experts. The spectacle will include a number of new introductions, with one brand new variety being launched at the Show. Visitors will be able to purchase garden-ready dahlias from a retail area adjacent to the display.
THE GARDEN GERBERA
In 2018, the Floral Marquee will feature a stunning 1,200-plant spectacle, by Florist, of hardy Gerbera Garvinea Sweet Series. Visitors will be wowed by the 3-meter-high display and will be able to purchase these new large-flowered winter hardy Gerberas, noted for a flowering period covering three seasons and with up to 30 large flowers per plant, from retail areas alongside the display in the Floral Marquee.
