‘Waves’ takes you on a plant filled journey illustrating the vital role the Maggie’s Centres Southampton plays in supporting those affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Maggie Keswick Jencks had an interest in Taoist waves of energy moving through the landscape. Our Taoist chalk wave moves through three garden spaces and represents fluctuating waves of energy and emotion.

Starting with planting of restrained colour and form, the wave then rests at a central water feature and a planting of green and white, a quiet regenerative escape. The path then widens again surrounded by harmonising planting that celebrates the beauty and energy of nature.
