Where to stay

When you are staying away from home, waking up in comfortable surroundings always makes the experience more enjoyable.

Birmingham and the neighbouring areas house an extensive range of accommodation; with a choice of almost 30,000 hotels in the West Midlands the region is guaranteed to have a pillow with your name on it and in a location that is convenient to you.

Accommodation near The NEC

If you prefer to be closer to The NEC, there are several hotels which are either within walking distance (Hilton Metropole, Ramada Encore, Arden Hotel & Leisure Club, Premier Inn NEC). The Crowne Plaza NEC is the nearest hotel to the LG Arena, situated just across the road.

Accommodation in Birmingham

Birmingham city centre accommodation is surprisingly convenient. Some hotels, such as the Britannia and Holiday Inn Express are adjacent to New Street station (which is 1 stop away from The NEC/LG Arena) and others, such as the nearby Copthorne Birmingham City Centre, City Inn, Radisson Blu, Novotel and Jurys Inn are all within walking distance of the NIA and ICC. You can take advantage of the city’s many excellent restaurants, or go shopping, sightseeing, etc. by choosing a city centre hotel.

Boutique options

Perhaps somewhere more homely is what you envisage? The region has numerous guesthouses and B&B’s, each offering a warm welcome and a comfortable environment in which to unwind, recoup or nod off.

Solihull, Sutton Coldfield and Coventry are just a short drive away and offer a wide range of accommodation. If you fancy some let-up from the excitement of the city there are several countryside retreats surrounding Birmingham; many of them offering luxurious facilities. New Hall Hotel and Spa, Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel & Golf Club, Grimstock Country House Hotel and The Manor Hotel are but a few wonderfully situated properties offering excellent facilities and service.
