Returning to their roots, both Barnsdale Gardens and Birmingham City Council recreate their acclaimed exhibits from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, plant for plant, in the Floral Marquee .
Look out for more fabulous floral tributes to the TV Programmes anniversary in the Floral Marquee including a three-tier birthday cake made of Peonies (Primrose Hall Nursery), a garden party scene of British cut flowers and beautiful table set for the Gardeners’ World presenters (Flowers from the Farm), a fruit bush and tree display with veritable museum of garden tools and BBC books by presenters over the years (Pennard Plants).
Look out for the vintage 1967 Austin Mini and Nuffield Tractor in The Nostalgia Garden, both made here in Birmingham. If you look closely you'll also see an original copy of Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band on the back seat, also famously produced in 1967.
