Lexus
Harmony and balance. Two feelings Lexus’ garden concept is designed to evoke for visitors as they enter their garden at BBC Gardeners’ World Live this year. Inspired by Japanese Kanshō-niwa gardens, their garden concept will be a place of contemplation and peacefulness.
The Lexus garden concept is a garden for the spirit, designed to be toured mentally with the eye rather than physically. Carefully arranged, you will be able to take a moment to relax, reflect and refocus the mind as you sit in a central oasis within the contemplation garden space.
The feature will take influence from the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, meaning forest bathing, encouraging the benefits of reconnecting with and immersing in nature and will also feature a Ryokan style garden house. The space positions the first all-electric Lexus car (the Lexus UX300e) amongst a refreshing green environment and the All New NX Plug-in Hybrid (the Lexus NX450h+) in a traditional Japanese setting, both encouraging a more sustainable future.

If you enjoyed the sensory forest experience based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, meaning forest bathing, at the Special Edition, you won’t want to miss Lexus’ return to the Show this year.
Taking time to relax amongst trees in such natural atmospheres is considered a sensory experience, which can provide multiple therapeutic benefits, improve our overall wellbeing and lower stress levels. Inspired by forest environments, the garden encouraged a better quality of life and more sustainable future. Take a look at their 2021 forest experience below…
