Kelly Fowler

Kelly Fowler, Senior Kitchen Gardener at Audley End House and Gardens, has been working at Audley End since 2019.

She previous undertook an RHS Apprenticeship spending two years working at RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Chelmsford before working as a Gardener for the National Trust and then joining the kitchen garden at Audley End. She has a particular passion for seed saving as it is vitally important in order for us to preserve heritage and diverse varieties of fruit and vegetables. Last year Kelly and Gemma visited France on an RHS Bursary trip to research ‘spirit of place’ within walled kitchen gardens across various sites both modern and historic, productive and ornamental.

Gemma, Kelly and Lucy are looking forward to sharing ‘An Edible Garden Through Time’ Show Garden with visitors to the upcoming Gardener’s World Autumn Fair.
