Parking at the Autumn Fair
The car park will be open at 9am, until 6pm. There are no facilities in the car parks, and the Fair does not open until 10am.
With feedback from last year’s Autumn Fair, developments have been made to the Car Parking systems for 2023. Please read the important information about options, below.
All cars will require a Parking Pass, available to book at the same time as tickets. Parking Passes should be displayed on your dashboard in advance of arriving, to ensure you are directed correctly to park.
Booking in advance will speed up your access into the car park.
On the day Parking Passes
- £7 on the day, payable at the entrance to the car park, cash payment only
- Free parking for English Heritage Members, with proof of valid Membership
- Free Blue Badge parking may not be able to be accommodated if not booked in advance.
Standard Car Parking pass, in advance
- £5, book online at the same time as tickets.
- You can purchase standard parking independently of tickets, here >
Blue Badge holders’ Car Parking Passes, in advance:
- Free of charge, limited Blue Badge Parking Passes are available to book in advance, when booking tickets.
- Display your Blue Badge Parking Pass AND your Blue Badge, clearly on your dashboard before arrival at the car park. This is to show that you are eligible for free parking.
- Blue Badge parking passes are available on a first come first served basis. The option will show as ‘unavailable’ when the capacity is reached, meaning standard parking will need to be booked.
- There man not be any availability on the day, for Blue Badge parking, that has not been booked in advance
English Heritage Member Car Parking Pass:
- Free of charge English Heritage Member parking should be booked in advance, when booking tickets.
- Display your English Heritage Member Parking pass clearly alongside your Membership card on your dashboard, before arrival at the car park. This is to show that you are eligible for free parking.
Motorcycles: Free of charge (no parking pass required)
At the point of booking tickets, you will be asked to select your Parking Pass. If you are travelling by foot, bike, public transport, taxi or plan to car share with someone who has booked a Parking Pass, you can select ‘No Parking Required
