Plant Crèche service

The Plant Creche at the Spring Fair gives you the opportunity to drop off your plants, and all your shopping, in a safe and secure area at the Fair and collect them at the end of your visit, so you can enjoy all the fun of the fair bag-free! The friendly and helpful team from Maggie’s are on hand to coordinate and assist you in return for a small donation.

We recommend visitors also bring Bags for Life to help reduce the need for plastic bags.

With thanks to sponsor, Maggie’s of Southampton.

Maggie’s Southampton is an oasis of calm for anyone living with cancer.  The stunning building is an architectural marvel designed by RIBA award winning architect, Amanda Levette from AL_A and is cocooned in landscaped gardens designed by Sarah Price, Gold medallist at last year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

The centre welcomes anybody living with cancer, their families and friends, and offers free emotional, psychological and practical support.  Expert cancer specialists, psychotherapists, and volunteers are available on a drop-in basis, making Maggie’s Southampton the place to turn at one of life’s most distressing times.

You will find a garden border that represents Maggie’s through a horticulturalist’s lens in ‘Beautiful Borders’.  Designed by Andrew Williamson and Laura Hall, ‘Together’ encourages people to create a safe harbour of any size to use and share in times of pressure.
