Home - Spring Fair - What's On - In The Pink
This is embarrassing. I do not have a garden. I am a Landscape Architect and Garden Designer and yet, I do not have a space to experiment with planting combinations, practice sustainable soil techniques or grow cut flowers for my kitchen table. Any experience of garden curation I do is through the design of other people’s spaces. This wrap-around border is a space for me. For the first time, I’ve selected only the forms and colours that please me the most. A pink palette of spring perennials and bulbs weave through the round, repeating structure of topiary mounds, with a soft accent of spring grasses. Two small garden trees watch over a small seating area, casting dappled shade over a space made for conversation.
