Eat the City
‘Eat the City’ is a garden inspired by the urban environment, harnessing permaculture, edible-ornamental and companion planting ideas to create a beautiful space, that the whole community and wildlife can enjoy.
It could be said that a neighbourhood, a city, a community and a garden all share the same habits. They cannot be built, they are things that must grow. You cannot build a neighbourhood any more than you can build a tree; you can only create the right conditions, plant the seed, care for it, and wait.

The theme of 2024 is ‘Share my Space.’ The theme is all about harnessing the potential of small garden spaces and using them as catalysts for building a sense of community through gardening. Our gardens, no matter how big or small, are spaces we can come together, learn from one another and cultivate a shared green oasis.
