Magic Moments

This garden started many years ago in back gardens, allotments and parks. It started with simple moments, spotting butterflies, collecting frog spawn and teddy bears picnics with friends.

The early moments that inspire the next generation of gardeners, be it making daisy chains, fearing spiders in the shed or perfecting rose perfume all these small, shared moments create the gardeners we become.

They provide us with those glorious moments of nostalgia where we reminisce about tomatoes warm from the vine, the scent of the sweet peas cut for the table, the peas fresh from the pod.

This garden hopes to capture those moments and to inspire others to create magic moments of their own.

The theme of 2024 is ‘Share my Space.’ The theme is all about harnessing the potential of small garden spaces and using them as catalysts for building a sense of community through gardening. Our gardens, no matter how big or small, are spaces we can come together, learn from one another and cultivate a shared green oasis.
