Our Safe Haven
Designed as a ‘safe haven’ for anyone who needs a peaceful spot to stop, breathe and take in nature. A short sensory lavender path grazes your ankles as you meander through right colourful planting to pollinator friendly plants and flowers. On reaching the centre you’ll find a beautiful handmade bench, which sits behind a calm tranquil woodland. Whilst you sit you’ll hear the buzzing of bees, see the fluttering of butterflies and smell the scent of lavender. Still in the air – your safe haven.

The theme of 2024 is ‘Share my Space.’ The theme is all about harnessing the potential of small garden spaces and using them as catalysts for building a sense of community through gardening. Our gardens, no matter how big or small, are spaces we can come together, learn from one another and cultivate a shared green oasis.
