The Then & Now

Immerse yourself in ‘The Then & Now’ with this contemporary urban social space with textures, smells, and playful modular structures. This design signifies the journey through our changing climate and introduces a cohesion of traditional & modern planting and self-forming, quarry dust paths which lead you through the planted boarders to create a covered gravel garden. Sustainable, biodiverse friendly and introducing a new approach to low maintenance planting with a modern twist. Scattered, contrasting, burnt timber structures eventually group into a moulded bench signifying our climates harsh reality.

The theme of 2024 is ‘Share my Space.’ The theme is all about harnessing the potential of small garden spaces and using them as catalysts for building a sense of community through gardening. Our gardens, no matter how big or small, are spaces we can come together, learn from one another and cultivate a shared green oasis.
