Oyster Mushroom Workshops Brought to the Fair by Jodie and Lorraine of the Sussex-based Caley Brothers, this workshop taught visitors how to grow your own oyster mushrooms at home. Attendees also received a kit to help get growing their own substrate and the team covered all aspects of growing mushrooms and answer any questions along the way. The Caley Brothers aim to connect people to the world of fungi and growing gourmet mushrooms in an easy and accessible way. What’s more, all the mushrooms are grown sustainably on repurposed coffee grounds and the kits are packaged in reclaimed coffee sacks, consciously designed to be recycled, composted or reused.Half hour workshops cost £10 (Fair ticket also required) and took place daily at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Participants will get a growing kit to take home.  /*! elementor - v3.19.0 - 07-02-2024 */ .elementor-widget-image{text-align:center}.elementor-widget-image a{display:inline-block}.elementor-widget-image a img[src$=".svg"]{width:48px}.elementor-widget-image img{vertical-align:middle;display:inline-block} With thanks to

Capability Brown Tours Sir John Griffin has decided that Audley End should conform to the fashionable tastes of the time. He has hired the famous landscape architect Lancelot Brown to bring Audley’s gardens and parks into the 1760’s. Join Mr Brown as he surveys the grounds, shares his exciting plans with you, and expounds upon the landscape’s ‘capabilities.’ In this half an hour tour, the famous architect ‘Lancelot Brown’ will transport visitors back to the 1760s and bring Audley End’s gardens to life. Visitors can reserve a space on a tour on the day at no extra cost. Capability Brown Gardens A look at some of the gardens in Lancelot “Capability” Brown’s illustrious portfolio. Croome, WorcestershireCapability Brown’s first commission for a house and parkland was at Croome. At one time rather overgrown, it has been subject to a wonderful restoration project over 17 years ago and that’s still going strong today. The fruits are available to view and will not disappoint! Blenheim Palace, OxfordBlenheim Palace is unmatched for scale among Brown’s works, counting over 2000 acres all told of landscaped beauty. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site for good reason. Commissioned by the then Duke of Marlborough, the space includes a secret garden, majestic water terraces, a rose garden and more. Hampton Court Palace, LondonIn a move that raised his status among the nobility, Brown was tasked by King George III to look after the Palace’s gardens and Brown lived there with his family. He is thought to have planted the “Great Vine” in 1768 – and it still produces a crop of sweet grapes today! /*! elementor - v3.19.0 - 07-02-2024 */ .elementor-widget-divider{--divider-border-style:none;--divider-border-width:1px;--divider-color:#0c0d0e;--divider-icon-size:20px;--divider-element-spacing:10px;--divider-pattern-height:24px;--divider-pattern-size:20px;--divider-pattern-url:none;--divider-pattern-repeat:repeat-x}.elementor-widget-divider .elementor-divider{display:flex}.elementor-widget-divider .elementor-divider__text{font-size:15px;line-height:1;max-width:95%}.elementor-widget-divider .elementor-divider__element{margin:0 var(--divider-element-spacing);flex-shrink:0}.elementor-widget-divider .elementor-icon{font-size:var(--divider-icon-size)}.elementor-widget-divider .elementor-divider-separator{display:flex;margin:0;direction:ltr}.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_icon .elementor-divider-separator,.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_text .elementor-divider-separator{align-items:center}.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_icon .elementor-divider-separator:after,.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_icon .elementor-divider-separator:before,.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_text .elementor-divider-separator:after,.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_text .elementor-divider-separator:before{display:block;content:"";border-block-end:0;flex-grow:1;border-block-start:var(--divider-border-width) var(--divider-border-style) var(--divider-color)}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-left .elementor-divider .elementor-divider-separator>.elementor-divider__svg:first-of-type{flex-grow:0;flex-shrink:100}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-left .elementor-divider-separator:before{content:none}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-left .elementor-divider__element{margin-left:0}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-right .elementor-divider .elementor-divider-separator>.elementor-divider__svg:last-of-type{flex-grow:0;flex-shrink:100}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-right .elementor-divider-separator:after{content:none}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-right .elementor-divider__element{margin-right:0}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-start .elementor-divider .elementor-divider-separator>.elementor-divider__svg:first-of-type{flex-grow:0;flex-shrink:100}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-start .elementor-divider-separator:before{content:none}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-start .elementor-divider__element{margin-inline-start:0}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-end .elementor-divider .elementor-divider-separator>.elementor-divider__svg:last-of-type{flex-grow:0;flex-shrink:100}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-end .elementor-divider-separator:after{content:none}.elementor-widget-divider--element-align-end .elementor-divider__element{margin-inline-end:0}.elementor-widget-divider:not(.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_text):not(.elementor-widget-divider--view-line_icon) .elementor-divider-separator{border-block-start:var(--divider-border-width) var(--divider-border-style) var(--divider-color)}.elementor-widget-divider--separator-type-pattern{--divider-border-style:none}.elementor-widget-divider--separator-type-pattern.elementor-widget-divider--view-line .elementor-divider-separator,.elementor-widget-divider--separator-type-pattern:not(.elementor-widget-divider--view-line) .elementor-divider-separator:after,.elementor-widget-divider--separator-type-pattern:not(.elementor-widget-divider--view-line) .elementor-divider-separator:before,.elementor-widget-divider--separator-type-pattern:not([class*=elementor-widget-divider--view]) .elementor-divider-separator{width:100%;min-height:var(--divider-pattern-height);-webkit-mask-size:var(--divider-pattern-size) 100%;mask-size:var(--divider-pattern-size) 100%;-webkit-mask-repeat:var(--divider-pattern-repeat);mask-repeat:var(--divider-pattern-repeat);background-color:var(--divider-color);-webkit-mask-image:var(--divider-pattern-url);mask-image:var(--divider-pattern-url)}.elementor-widget-divider--no-spacing{--divider-pattern-size:auto}.elementor-widget-divider--bg-round{--divider-pattern-repeat:round}.rtl .elementor-widget-divider .elementor-divider__text{direction:rtl}.e-con-inner>.elementor-widget-divider,.e-con>.elementor-widget-divider{width:var(--container-widget-width,100%);--flex-grow:var(--container-widget-flex-grow)} Looking for garden inspiration?
